10/31 Craig's End of the Season Forecast

Postby Craig Goudie » Mon Oct 31, 2022 9:00 am

Greetings and welcome to my traditional end of the season forecast.
And after a month or more of marginal wind, it looks like the season will
end with a windy day, but not today. Today, look for 9/18 planable puffs
at DC as your best bet, with air temps close to 60 degrees.

Tomorrow, look for strong gusty SW winds at locations that favor that, so...
Grantsville AM 6/12. Willard late AM through late afternoon 6/12. DC and Jordanelle
with PM 6/12M conditions. Even Sulfur Creek will be almost warm enough
for 6/12 South winds PM at about 55 degrees air temp. Cloudy but with some
60 degree sun breaks in the afternoon every where else.

Weds, temps fall drastically and rain then snow will put a cramp in some stout
SW winds at favored SW locations.

My apologies for the sporadic nature of the forecasts caused by a combination
of health and work issues (at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it)
With a little luck I'll see you in the canyons, or next year in the Gorge.

Have a pleasant winter of deep freshies.

-Craig over and out!
