9/16 Craig's Honk'n Gusty Winds

The best bet for steady ridable winds might be Grantsville for 6M sails until Noon, then
a lull, then more gusty winds in the afternoon. In fact, watch for everywhere to be
pretty planable early, but then a huge increase in afternoon winds (starts around Noon),
so be careful and be ready. Willard with 5/10 M conditions around 11AM that go to
4.5/9M conditions around Noon and last until 5. DC with 7/14M conditions starting
around 11 AM that go 6/12 around Noon and last until 5 or 6. Jordanelle similar to DC.
Sulfur Creek with 4M sail conditions Noon until 5. Mona and Utah Lake with planable
gusty SW winds in the AM in the 7/14M range get into the
the afternoon SW gusty winds around 2Pm and rise to probably 5.5 /11 by 6
PM. Clouds roll by but there looks to be a sun break in the clouds around 2PM. Where
ever you go, if you go, please be careful and mindful of dramatically changing conditions
mid day.

Tomorrow, a very peaceful 7M sail day at Sulfur Creek.

Weds looks like more planable Grantsville, DC, and Sulfur Creek.
