New and looking for advice

Postby brian ways » Sat Aug 25, 2012 11:03 am

I just got back from learning to Kite in Cape Hatteras at KHK. Then i went for a week in Cabarete, DR, and went out 4 times there. I bought a 2012 Cabrinha Vector 11m package that came with a Spectrum 136, bars, lines, pump, etc. For $1500. I used the Vector a bunch down in Cabarete and loved it. Couple people i met told me to only buy Wainman Hawaii for my next kites. Those kites do look pretty sweet.

So i realize that the winds in Utah call a need on most days for greater than 13m kites? Do you guys have any suggestions on what kite i need to get for here? Im pretty broke after buying the Vector. So i'm on a budget.

Any suggestions or advice would be very helpful

Thanks Guys
