The wind was a little slow to start requiring full use of planing skills but by the end we got tons of rides. With clouds around the wind direction was changing between west and SW. Greg did great on his foil with a 5.2. I tried an 8.5 for one round trip and got blown off the lake. I went to 7.0 on light wind setting with the tried-and-true big 135L Carve and did fine (weight loss during Gorge trip paid off). John stuck with his new 7.5 and 145L board. Temps in the 70’s, water refreshing, long reaches, great afternoon.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
