National Weather Service: " Calm wind becoming SW 5-7 in the afternoon." Not too encouraging. But by 2, it was clear that the forecast was overly pessimistic. By the time I got to IB it was clear that anything bigger than a 5.0 would be too much for me. Half an hour of shore to shore planing rides, then the wind got a bit less consistent, although there were still plenty of rides to be had. Very few boats and not many kiteboarders (down at Utah Lake?).
