Saturday prediction on Friday was 29mph, by Saturday morning it had dropped to 21-31, and by noon it had dropped to 18. And 18 to 20 it was for most of the afternoon. Once I had adjusted to that I rigged the 6.0 and 112L and planed up immediately then switched to the 86L about 3:30 as it continued to fill in. Both boards provided tons of screaming reaches on one of my favorite sails. Great afternoon except for the smoke. 6 days in a row at Sulfur and I am beat. Sleeping over in Evanston last night with Penny helped with the driving fatigue. Taking a few days off. After all those long reaches may have trouble readjusting to Grants.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
