9/19 Sulfur 5.8m 112L 85L

Joined Wyoming resident Ken Onstott at Sulfur for a wild and wooly afternoon. Fully powered up on 5.8 / 6.0, started on 112 boards, after about 30 minutes, went down to the 85 liter boards for the rest of the day and enjoyed some really wild reaches. Violent gusts came through periodically, as we could have rigged 5.2's, but hung on to the larger sails. Chop not near as bad as usual... Smoke filled in mid afternoon, which made for a very surreal experience, with the orange sun, smoky lake... the apocalypse was sure to arrive any moment. At exactly 4:30, wind backed off, dragged ourselves out of the lake, fully satisfied!
