Time for John and I to get the season started. We started late hoping it would get warm and by 11:30 it died back so it wasn’t the longest sesh. Still, not bad to ease into the season. The lakes not full but John measured the walk to the launch at 73 steps, considerably better than last fall. Neither one of us ever fell, quite a feat for this early in the season. 40 degree water is quite the incentive to make those jibes. Nice morning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.

Also opening day (as far as I'm aware) for DC. Overcast and fairly warm (air low 50s, water just under 50). The wind was pretty steady but except for a few gusts, not quite enough to get my rig (7.0M, 138L) planing. Water level is quite a bit lower than this time last year, but the walk to the water is fairy short.
