Got there at 7:30 to strong wind. Classic Grants, blowing when wind everywhere else is mild. Even before I launched I had changed from the 112L to the little 86L race board. And it was off to the races as the 6.0 was everything I could handle, especially jibing on the east side. Josh showed up and rigged a 5.2 which was also well powered in the wind lines. By 9:00 you could feel it backing off a little and by 9:30 it was onto the 112L for some more great reaches. Packing by 10:00 although it did seem to come back a little before I left. The water level was disappointing as it was through the gate last Friday and now it is 20’ from the fence. No conservation efforts in this state. We also had 2 separate oil slicks come into the lake through the south stream; someone changing oil? Great morning of sailing.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
