8/11: Wall to wall whitecaps when I arrived at about 11. A bit too powered up on my 6.0. Came back in to pull more downhaul at which point Judy arrived. Went back out - still too much sail. Judy rigged her 4.5, which appeared to be a good call. I switched to my 5.0. A bit later George and Stone Ward appeared, Stone on George's trusty Carve 131 and George on a (strapless) windSUP. Both were doing very well in conditions that had become radically gusty.

8/12: Not as strong as yesterday but much steadier; excellent 6.0 conditions for about 2 hours. No other windsurfers and only 2 kiters while I was out.
