Two very pleasant afternoons on DC. Yesterday Dave O' was the first to arrive. He was rigging a 6.0, which seemed about right, so I followed suit. Gusty, of course, but less so than usual. This afternoon was similar but initially appeared to be about one sail size less windy. My 7.0 worked well at first, but the wind continued to build, necessitating a switch to a 6.0. Peak gust 25 mph.

Unlike the situation at G'ville, the water level in DC remains remarkably high for this late in the season, meaning that launching at Charleston Day Use Area (aka DCCB) remains an option IF YOU HAVE A WEED FIN.
