Wind wrong direction at 5:30 so went back to bed. But by 6:30 it had swung around to the south and I headed out fast. Surprised to get over there to lots of sun, all the clouds were over by Tooele. Lots of waves so I figured it had to be 6.0. Totally powered up on lots of rides but wind a little too east to be steady. Almost switched to the 86L board a couple of times but would hit a dead spot and stay on the comfy 112. By 11:00 I headed back to town with the rain clouds chasing me. They caught me at Lakepoint as I filled up the van with 2.409 gas. The rain knocked 2/3 of the bugs off the front of the van, hooray! Glad I went.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
