A good turnout including a few old timers ie Grant McAllister who got lots of rigging practice and Paul Bradshaw who still has his sailing skills & got the most rides. Sail sizes varied from 3.5 for Jim using a foil, 5.5 for Paul 6.1 for Dimitrije up to me on a 7.5 who had to wait for the wind to back off in order to go back out as it was dying off. Very gusty, but gotta love DC on such a beautiful fall day. Only a couple of boats with fisher people trolling in the bay. Average wind on the beach was 13 and highest gust was 35 per Jim's wind meter. Another sailor on a formula board blasting up and down the lake like he owned it but not sure who it was.
