Opened up the season with a pretty good session or two. Ken joined me for an early bird special, although we didn't get started until about 10:30 ish, under partly cloudy skies and pretty strong wind. Rigged 5.2's and enjoyed a nice strong session on the 85 liter boards, although fairly short as I needed to remember who, what, where everything goes... Not Ken, he jumped in and never looked back. The wind backed off and we rigged up, me on a 6.5 and Ken on his trusty 7.0. Another good but short session, then the wind lightened up. Ken got a few more rides on his 7.0. Luckily, neither of us fell in, so can't provide a first hand "over the head dunking" report of water temperature, but it did feel pretty cold on the pinkies. So... surfs up, at least for a day or two, then maybe back to powder skiing? (It's tough to coordinate spring activities in Utah).

At breakfast yesterday I told Dimitrije and Grant that I was watching the UWA website as you guys would be posting any day. You didn't disappoint. Given the water can't be much over 40 it will be awhile before I join you.
