Saw a 20mph reading on the Provo meter a little before 1:00 and packed up and left the house fast. As expected, it wasn’t 20 when I got there but it was still steady 16-17, perfect for the 7.0. Started off on the 135L board thanks to the 4/17 disaster but after a half hour had to switch to the 112L to maintain control. Ended up with a really nice 1.5 hours on the 7.0/112. A little before 5:00 went to the 6.0/112L and was immediately too powered. I switched to the 86L race board and had a blast for an hour. Around 6:00 the wind suddenly dropped so I quickly schlogged back (learned my lesson from Monday). Ended up packing up in a light sprinkle. With 3 boards and 2 sails on the beach ended up being a chore to pack up but was worth it for 3 hours of sailing. Nice afternoon. 5th trip to UL in a coupled of weeks. Got 2 nice afternoons of sailing, one 2-round-trip debacle, and 2 skunks. I sure have better luck at Grantsville and Sulfur. Still, a neat place to sail and I figured I had better get it before the next algal bloom.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
