Great afternoon at UL. Arrived at 3:00, as Eric was blasting about on his 6.0, as he had been there since 9:00 (with a lot of work time in his truck in between sessions). Ken and I rigged 5.2's as it appeared to be ramping up. Got a few good rides, however needed a little more punch, so we rigged 5.8's for the rest of the afternoon, which worked great. In fact, for a large part of the day, probably could have stayed on the 5.2's. The best part is how much more fun the little boards are in the waves. Given the tight distance between waves at UL, the little boards are so much easier to jibe than a bigger board. Wish we could be on the little boards more often down there. All in all, one of the best sessions I have had at UL for quite some time!
