Wind was predicted to be late but Baccus and Bluffdale coming up fast so got there by 2:30. Already 18-20 on dike so went with 6.0 and 112. Pretty sure I would be back for 86L later. Sailed 3-4:00 wound up on the 6.0/112. Then it backed down a notch. Sailed 4:30-5:30 on the 7.0/112, totally wound the 1st half then petering out the 2nd half. A little disappointed it went down instead of up as predicted but not griping on getting 2 hours of nice sailing. The area out to the edge of the dike was a trash pit with reeds, roots and muddy water everywhere. So much for washing the sails last week. Very nice once I got out as I only hit one reed and had enough speed to snap it apart. Several power boats and jet skis around but no other sailors. Someone put a Hobie Cat by the dumpster if you need a rehabilitation project. Can’t believe the Utah County/ Tooele County mentality on trash sometimes.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
