Peter was 1st out on his 6.5 and 140+ board in some really up and down wind. John rigged 6.5/112 and I rigged 6.0/112. John went zooming out and schlogged back so I re-rigged to 7.0/135. That was the ticket to stay on a plane so John rigged 7.5 and 145 and we cruised around the lake until 4:00 in some pretty brutal chop. Then some better wind came through for an hour allowing us to switch to the 112’s to finish. Thunderheads kept getting close from the south most of the afternoon fouling the wind. Still, seemed like only game in town, nice summer activity. The lake is down to where you can see the island getting close to the surface and the beach is turning into a mud flat.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
