I wasn’t expecting to get rained on 3 times on the way to the lake nor was I expecting 5.2 winds. Oh well. It seems like the NOAA weather forecasters are on Corona leave. Sailed until 9:00 on the 6.0 but not used to having to way oversheet to survive jibes on the east side; especially when the penalty is slamming into the dike. By then I was getting 22mph readings on my wind meter and switched to the 5.2. Totally powered on the 5.2 and small race board until 10:45 when it started dropping. Sailed until 11:00 but winds had turned too east to be fun so quit. Still whitecaps when I left. Warm air but water getting cool. Still got by with a 3/2 with sleeves.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.

Thanks for posting Ken. I was curious to know if anyone sailed today. Looks like it was quite good!
