Deer Creek 7.5 Island Beach again 10/13

Postby Grant McAllister » Wed Oct 14, 2020 5:14 pm

Got to Island Beach right at 1:00 pm and rigged my 7.5 just as the wind line started showing promise coming down from Rainbow bay. Gusty but sailable with better wind wrapping around around the point just south of the boat launch. Got plenty of ripper rides in between the big holes...and believe me they were big holes!!! Jim on his foil and Dimitri also there to enjoy the lovely late fall sailing. Wind quit around 4:00pm and I wrapped up my gear, cleaned the "Barnacles" off my leg that had formed waiting for the next wind line to come down and headed home.
