Considerable smoke from the fire at the mouth of Provo Canyon. The wind first appeared at about 1, and by the time I got to IB the lake was wall-to-wall whitecaps with gusts to 23. Today the "smoke on the water" was actual smoke. Anyway,I was able to get up on foil pretty easily from about 2 to 2:30, at which the wind started backing off. By 3 there were occasional brief gusts but not much else. Similar pattern yesterday.
