A SLIGHT stirring beginning about 1. When I arrived at IB (2ish) the flag at the entrance booth was fluttering fitfully, and there were small riffles on the water. To rig or not to rig? Rig. No difficult decisions as to what to rig - BIG. And it worked! I got numerous nice, mellow foiling rides. How mellow? I was mostly foiling at between 8 and 10 mph. The wind peaked at 16 but averaged 6.1 and was fairly steady.

4 or so kiters launching at Pepe's Point.

Water temp is down to 48ºF, and it's still a long walk to the water.
