Apparently NOAA’s forecast of mostly sunny morning, clouds in afternoon really meant solid overcast by 8:00am. My meter was reading 20mph when I got there so rigged 6.0/112L. But by the time I hit the water that wind was gone. Schlogged one round trip and went back for the 7.0. Spent a half hour on the 7.0/135L while it sprinkled then the wind filled back in for a sweet hour on the 7.0/112L ripping as fast as I could go. Finished out with a ½-hour gentleman’s sesh back on the 135 and bagged it at 11:15. The water level is up far enough it is not much of a walk to the water, especially compared to that long steep walk at Jordanelle. With 100 gulls milling around in the grass I didn’t even need to get out of the car to know it is grasshopper season again. Great morning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
