The wind came up out of the SW a little after noon. Very gusty and a bit gloomy due to the smoke. I got quite a few short foil rides, but it took a lot of pumping. The good news about Rainbow is that it is MUCH less crowded than IB, and the walk to the water is a lot shorter. Downsides include no grass to rig on, a very rocky "beach" and usually a side-onshore wind direction.
