To the extent there was any at all, the wind was NE all morning and until about 3:15 in the afternoon, at which point it switched to SW and started building. Full on whitecaps when I got to the beach at about 4. Debated rigging my 4.0, but figured the wind probably wouldn't last long, so put on the 5.0. Pretty gusty, but I did get some decent rides on foil. Appeared to be over at 5:15 but came back just as I finished derigging:-( Still, a nice surprise session.
