The NWS was predicting 5-10 from the SW in the afternoon, hence it wasn't a total surprise when the trees started swaying at about 2. When I arrived at IB, there were occasional whitecaps, but the wind was generally very light. So, biggish (by foiling standards) sail and huge foil. And it worked. The wind filled in enough to permit pretty consistent foiling, albeit with nearly continuous foil pumping. Also enjoying a beautiful fall day were a small flock of kitefoilers and at least one winger. The wind started backing off about 4, but there were still kitefoilers out after 5.

The water temp seems to have plateaued for now at about 65ºF. The water level continues to drop, leaving the IB ramp a couple of yards short of the water.
