Good Place to stay with your spouse - Inn at the Gorge

Stayed there for 9 nights in August this year. The breakfasts were gourmet and huge, enough to last you until dinner. My wife really liked the place and the hosts (both windsurfers) were terrific.

http://www.cgriversidelodge.com/comments.html for those doddering windsurfers that like Bob's Beach, Stevenson WA...waterside, $79 a night, shared jacuzzi's on the deck, literally on the water. Gotta plug these guys, you can stumble across the tracks to the Walking Man Brewery, you can leave your rig on the beach and hike two blocks into the big town of Stevenson, WA and get breakfast, lunch dinner. Easy parking, great place for intermediates.

Wi fi all over town, especially the library. Kiters even share the water, almost flat water compared to the rest of the Gorge. Bring your earplugs, you be joining the Union Pacific Railroad, it roars through town day and night. Rumor has it the locomotive drivers order ahead and stop the train, run into the Crab Shack and toot toot....
