Appreciation for Craig

Postby kenonstott » Mon May 01, 2006 9:29 am

I just noticed Mclean at NWWeather has just folded his Gorge report into iWindsurf stating"most of you are already members of iWindsurf.com. anyway." Am I the only cheap windsurfer left?

I really valued that free report which brings up the reason for this post. As Mclean states, "Forecasting for my fellow windsurfers has been a labor of love...but publishing 7 times a week has been difficult". We owe Craig a great deal of thanks for his daily publishing of "where to sail". It is a great deal of work that deserves recognition. Thanks Craig. :D

Craig you are the King! We appreciate it too! Since I'm a weather challanged person, I check for what Craig has to say every day! I know he puts a great amount of time and effort in to it and we thank him!

Also with the aid of his 2005 Gorge DVD, I avoided therapy this past winter. I have watched it over and over again, trying to re-live the moments of the past summer. If anyone would like to see it, let me know, we'll get you a copy to view. Great sailing, crashes and music to be seen and heard. He does a very professional job.

Thanks for the gifts that keep Giving Craig!

I was just thinking how easy it is to just click on Craig's forecast instead of doing all the investigation myself. Thank's Craig! Much appreciation here!

I'm so with everyone else on this - I don't go out a whole lot here in Utah unless I know it's going to be good. Craigs reports definately help. I also was up in Oregon this last week and noticed how i-windsurf bought out their free competition and found it was much more difficult to get an overall wind report there without paying. Utah's got a great asset in Craig!!

As evidenced in this month's Windsurfing Magazine, Craig best represents the spirit of the sport we love. We can't count the days that Craig has pointed us in the right direction to put smiles on our faces. We all owe you a debt of gratitude. Many thanks

Thanks to all for the support

Postby Craig Goudie » Wed May 17, 2006 9:07 am

Well, the pressure is really on after the article. I'd like to thank
everybody for the support. John mentioned the article might be coming
out, but I didn't expect more than maybe a mention. Anyway,
I hope the forecasts are usefull even if they aren't always dead on.
I look upon you all as extended family, with my own tribe much
like brothers and sisters. Here's looking at another season of
happy brain chemistry for all those who ride the wind.

And again my deepest thanks,

-Craig
