8/12 Lindon 8.0 122L
A involuntary downwinder for me. It was light and gustier than normal, not DC gusty, but up and down. Plenty of fun bumpy plane time as long as I was headed slightly off the wind. So I left myself with the longest wade back up the beach I have ever experienced. (300 yards or so). Then a low water level mud hole exit to deal with.
Still I got some wind so...
Good exercise and well worth it in the end. Jim H was staying nicely up wind on his 14M Cabrina. It just wasn’t working for me this time out. Every time I tried to gain some ground upwind It was slog city.
Anyone ever tried a Lindon to that Jetty/spit of land on the west side (pelican point?) then back to Provo boat Harbor?
