9/7 Craig's Where to Cower

Known as a "Bomb Cyclone" (which basically means a low pressure center drop
of 24 millibars in 24 hours) will bring cool air on Tuesday, but a lot of erratic
NW winds on both Monday and Tuesday. Base winds on Monday while it's still warm
will be in the 4.5/9M range at UL from 6PM until midnight, but higher wild gusts are likely
so be very careful. Sulfur Creek will also have 4.5/9M conditions Noon until 5. Willard Bay
with 5/10M conditions 4 until dusk.
Tuesday. look for NW UL and Willard Bay conditions in the 4/8M range all day long, but again wild erratic gusts
are possible to much higher wind speeds, especially as the day progresses, and air temps will start
the morning in the 70s and work their way down to the upper 50s throughout the day. Have a mind
for caution!
Weds sees a 6/12M NW dinner sesh likely and warming air.
and....it could be worse. Denver will see snow on Tuesday and a high of 36 degrees.
Up here in Hood River we're talking about planable east winds at the Hatchery tomorrow.
I've been windsurfing up here almost 30 years, and this could be a 1st sailing East winds at the Hatchery
for me.
