Where to Ride 1/23 - Friday

At last, it looks like a rideable day at Strawberry. I expect some clearing wind in the early afternoon, but the wind direction looks westerly so it will be gusty. Now that we have a meter, check the meter before heading out. I expect wind in the low to mid teens. Not a lot of new snow, but a couple inches to freshen things up.

PowMow should be excellent with wind in the mid teens and 6-8" of new over hardpack.

Skyline looks good as well with wind in mid teens.

Evanston should be good with wind in the low to mid teens

Saturday the wind turns more southerly and favors PowMow, Skyline, and Evanston. You might get rides at Strawberry Marina, but that is always an iffy proposition.
