Where to Ride on Friday the 13th - updated

Postby Kenny » Thu Feb 12, 2009 10:32 pm

Forecast is on track for today. The storm tomorrow is looking particularly juicy. Saturday is looking like a whiteout at Skyline and PowMow. Strawberry should be rideable with much less snow in the forecast and SE wind in the morning and gusty west winds in the afternoon, but it may be a long commute.

Friday is looking like a south day with light wind in the low to mid-teens at PowMow and Skyline with a chance of snow flurries with excellent powder conditions. Might get a ride at Park City as well.

Valentine's Day - Saturday the wind starts out SE and switches to SW or West winds. All three mountain locations should be good. Wind will be a bit more gusty at Strawberry than PowMow and Skyline. Wind looks like mid to upper teens, but could honk at PM. Snow conditions will be primo powder.

Sunday looks like another south day similar to Friday.
