With an incoming storm, today looks very windy. You may get blown off the mountain at PowMow, Monte is a better bet. Strawberry will have intermittent, strong winds this AM switching to west wind in the mid-afternoon and should be in the low-twenties. Should give up good rides at the marina, ladders, mud creek, cabins, and even CCE and Straw River may give up some rides. Wind may be quite gusty at times. Skyline should be windy all day long with wind in the low to mid-twenties.

Friday will have wind, but the forecast for snow has also been increased as well, looks like a high probability of a whiteout at Skyline and possibly at Strawberry as well. Crazies could get some 10M kite action at UL in a frigid snowstorm, but it will be dangerous due to low air and water temps. So if you are so inclined, take all precautions for safety and don't go alone.

Saturday is promising residual north wind rides at Skyline and Strawberry stay tuned.
