3/30 - Smokin Windy Day

Batten down the hatches, it is going to blow today. The warm before the storm should give us decent airtemps at UL both Lindon (7 - 11M) and yes, it looks like MM19 (I am not sure about sail size, but I am guessing 5M or smaller) as well. The water will still be cold, so a thick wet suit or drysuit is still necessary. Just be careful out there as the weather may become unstable as the day progresses. Keep an eye out for squalls. DC should also go off in a big way for polar loving windsurfers. It is going to be nuclear at PowMow and Skyline today. Might want to check out the Reserve at Skyline or Monte for more reasonable wind speeds. Strawberry should have wind in the mid to upper 20's with a chance of rain. Wind will favor the Marina, Ladders, View site and Cabins.

There is a bit of uncertainty concerning Wednesday and Thursday. The storm system may stall. Either way, expect snow and wind tomorrow, visibility may be an issue at mountain locations.
