Welcome back Craig, we all appreciate your forecasts.

This is the time of year when one often debates whether to ride snow or water. I am tempted by UL today as the water temps are cold, but not nearly as cold as Grantsville and DC. You need 7MM booties and a drysuit if you want to ride comfortably at those locations. On the other hand, you can stay nice and warm on the snow with minimal cold weather gear the next few days.

Skyline and Strawberry should give up light wind rides today with low to mid-teens. Skyline will have more solid wind and better snow conditions compared to Strawberry. If you go to Strawberry, you are going to have better luck at more westerly favored locations (Chicken Creek East, Ladders, View spot, cabins).

Tomorrow looks like a lightwind day with warmer temps at Skyline and Strawberry. Expect wind in the low to mid-teens.

Sunday promises stronger south winds with enough punch to light up Strawberry. However, no guarantees on snow conditions, you may be riding in soup at the Marina, Ladders, Mud Creek, and Cabins. Skyline should have decent spring corn turning to slush with wind in the upper teens. PowMow also will have spring snow with wind in the low to mid-twenties and stronger gusts, maybe a good day to try Monte if the snow is still rideable there.
