Windy today. Grantsville looks like 4M honkers this AM probably till 1 PM when it will back off to 5M conditions for the
afternoon, the wind quality will be better in the AM. DC should be pretty good 6/12M conditions starting around 11AM
and lasting till 6PM or so. Mona looks like good 5.5 most of the day. Rush has some 10M wind if you want to mud board.
There might even be a few Kitable puffs at UL Eastern and Southern launches with a big Kite and board PM.
Tomorrow looks like more wind but colder. The Grants AM sesh should be strong 4M conditions, but expect that to quit
about 2 PM and not come back. DC will have wildly squirrelly wind with 5/10 gusts and 8.5/16 lulls. Kiters be wary up there.
Mona looks like it should be 5.5 for a couple of hours say 11 - 2 PM or so. Willard probably similar in the 5/10M range
from Noon till 3, and the wind will amp up seriously just before it quits around 3 PM so take that into account. Rush looks
too dangerous to Kite to me, but you can expect pretty wild South wind with gusts to 40 out there. UL MM19 looking like
5 M conditions from 11 till 3, again punctuated by a strong burst of wind about 3PM and then a rapid taper to unplannable
conditions. Kite boarders on the East and South side of UL take that into account when trying to get that last 10M ride at Lincoln,
SSB or Lindon. There will be some rain smattered in with the cold so blubber up accordingly just in case you have to swim.
Thursday windless, cold, and rainy.
Enjoy!
