Wind again today, but not as strong, nor quite as gusty as yesterday. The real question is
when will it switch North (some sensors show North already). Despite the ugly wind at Sulfur
yesterday, I think there'll be steadier wind today in the 5 M range and getting much steadier
in the PM as the front passes and the wind gets more West. DC looks like pretty good 6/12M wind
early (maybe as early as 9 to 10), and will deteriorate around 3 or 4 PM. Yuba probably has a good
6/12M AM sesh in it. I think Ul launches will see the North switch around 5 or 6 PM and could give
up some pretty good Kite rides around then on a somewhat gusty WNW wind in the 12-14M range
at Lincoln and ULSSB (Windsurfers might find some 7M conditions at Saratoga Springs Park).
Willard may come in mid day for some 6/11M conditions, but I'd wait for the wind meter to show
planable conditions before going there today. ALso factor in a much cooler day today.
Tomorrow, It's another Sulfur Creek day with steady West winds in the 6M range Noon till 6.
Tuesday, another front clips Northern Utah, and amps DC up again for planable winds PM.
