Suppose to crank today WSW @ 24mph, with ramping to 40s. It’s blowing WSW @ 15-18mph now (10:45am) at the cabin under sunny skies. Front may close-in by 5-6pm. Too much wind for my 14m, which is down for repairs anyway (two leaky strut valves). Saturday looks promising at the moment too, calling for W to WNWs @ 22-24mph most of the day, though north winds will drop the air temp below 70, along with a bit of cloud cover and only a slight chance of thunder. As always, consult your radar (NOAA Weather) and lightning (Blitzortung Lightning Monitor) apps. (Also, “Compass 360 Pro” is handy for orientation; Verizon rules out here, and ATT is useless.) I may try the 17m late in the day Saturday when it’s suppose to drop off to 18mph with clear skies.
