Grants looked like it would get too west too soon so off to Sulfur. On the water at 11:00 and off at 3:30, had to have sailed at least 3 hours. Used both 4.7 and 5.2 on the 86L iSonic. Wild screaming rides in some great wind. SW is the perfect direction as there is no chop, just nicely formed waves. Dash temp 64 and water looked frigid when I got there. However, the water didn’t feel bad and the feet and hands never got the least bit cold. Considering I darn near had a heat stroke at Grants yesterday wearing a steamer for the cold water, I found temps at Sulfur much more comfortable and had more energy. No other sailors but lots of park rangers. They were dragging a net behind a boat, bringing in the catch, then counting species, weighing and measuring each fish. They had 4 old washtubs full of them. They thanked me for providing the entertainment for an otherwise boring morning. My audience the last hour was just 10 seagulls in a line on the dock. Great day!
