10/4 DCIB 3.3m, 105L Slingshot Windfoil board & foil

Arrived before noon to howling and very gusty wind, rigged a 3.3m sail, caught a gust out of the wind shadow to the main channel only to have it die off after 15 minutes or so. I limped back in and waited for the next round of wind, this is the way it was for the next 3 plus hours(mostly waiting), lucky to actually get 15 miles of foiling in. Pretty much frustrating for all 3 windsurfers & 3 windfoilers! The last round came in with straight onshore west wind that we all gave it a go on before everyone finally packed it up. The best part was actually the drive there and back with all the spectacular fall colors on display!!!
