Good to have 9 windsurfers show up for an event, kind of like old times. Looked pretty windy when I got there so put the little board on the 6.0 and gave it a shot. I was 1/3 across the lake before I got going then it was a ripping reach to the other side and back, and then half way across again when I dropped off a plane. That was the last of the big wind for quite a while. Switched to the 112L board and caught lots of decent rides in a west wind that was creating significant chop. But it was one of those up and down afternoons with lots of schlogging. Then at 4:00 it was time for Doug’s famous 4:00-blow,the wind flipped SW, increase a couple of notches and we got a lot of great sailing the next half hour. John and I headed back to town after that with a big smile on our faces.
