Deer Creek Island Beach 10/8
Posted: Fri Oct 09, 2020 10:28 amGot to DC at 1:00 pm with fresh promising wind lines coming down the reservoir. Looked like it might be a stellar 7.0 day just as Craig predicted. Seemed like everyone showed at once with smiles and great anticipation for a perfect fall session! Duane K.,George W. and Stone, Jim S., Dave O., Dimitri M. and Josh S. I rigged a 7.5 as did DK and most everyone got on the water by 2;00 along with Jim and Dave on their foils. The curse of DC fickle wind started and although most of us got some good rides it was pretty much over by 4:00 pm. Been a while since I`ve sailed DC but loved being back on the water in the fall!!!
