The peak wind speeds were just what I wanted but it started off very streaky and up and down. Started on the 6.0 but after several trips where I nearly got on a plane 5 or 6 times a crossing, I went to the 7.0. But by 9:00 the 7.0 was too much on the east side and went back to the 6.0. It finally filled in after 9:00 and it was time for screaming reaches almost every trip across. For my gear at least it backed off very quickly at 10:00. Doug was able to rig a bigger kite and keep on ripping. Too many sailors for names but it was great to be sailing with Mike E. and Doug again. Nice morning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
