A very nice 4 day weekend. 5.4 sail and 75 ltr board most of the time, 91ltr board a bit too. Some times you need to not listen to the forecast, cause you might begin to think that you are not going to sail that day, and feel bummed. Then you find that you go to the hatchery and end up having hours of fun on your little board. Sometimes I think the forecasters just want the river to them selves, so they kind of hint for everyone else to stay home. Well it works for me, cause it's not as crowded that way. You can find your own little section of the river to play in the swell, and it even gets smooth in many sections of the river. It was a lot of fun to make a down wind run with the rats to Wells Island and back. Lot's of great sailing, friends, food and fun. Can't wait to go back!
