Forecast was for 15 to 25 mph. When I arrived John Freed was going out on a 5.2. It was so windy it blew his boom right off the mast, er,,it could have been a faulty knot, but it was windy. I had to run home for smaller gear. Should have rigged a 4.5 but survived the 4.0 gusts on the 5.0. Great swell for jumping and riding. John, Ken and Eric in attendence. My best day ever at Jordanelle!
