1/13 Skyline

Talked Mike Rossberg into going to Skyline on Friday the 13th. We arrived to a very weak SE wind, gorgeous blue skies, and 8 - 10" of fresh powder. We struggled with our kites for a couple hours, but it was more work than play. Just about the time we were ready to throw in the towel, the wind picked up out of the East to a solid 15 mph. We rode the hill below the ridge, since that area usually receives all the windblown powder, the surface was excellent. A few riders from the bay area were there as well. All in all it was another great day at Skyline
