After checking the mesonet, I drove to Strawberry. Arrived at 12:30 with 13 to 17mph NW on my wind meter. Set up my 10 meter foil and was powered for 3 hours. It seemed to pick up and get gustier closer to 4pm. There is great coverage, but some of the snow is rough "sastrugi". Quite a few snowmobilers were also out last weekend. Although there was some fine riding to be had up and down the hills around Chicken Creek West. Tom showed up for a few hours with his 7.5 M foil. We covered alot of miles.

Mike, Go to this site
http://www.met.utah.edu/mesowest/
Click on the state of Utah, Go to Wasatch County, Look for Daniels-Strawberry. The site is at 8000 feet. Only the direction and gust is working, regular wind speed is not correct.
It might blow there again after the next frontal passage on Thurs or Friday.
