Now... It's time for liquid...
It's also time for our UWA Annual Meeting and Video night...
First of all, we have our fingers crossed that the Internationally award winning FEATURE LENGTH film, "Children Of The Wind", will be released in time... They can not release it until it is done in the awards Festival circuit... Josh Shirley has spoken with the company and if it's available, we'll have it... Some critics have said this was one of the most inspiring Windfilms ever made... We will show the feature length as an end to the evening... Popcorn and all!!! We are going to be electing a Kiteboard BOARD... 5-8 Kiteboarders who can contribute knowledge, time, resources, or whatever it takes to protect kiting sites, as well as preserve Kiting saftey...
There will be a confirmation of nominated board members and which will include the nomination and confirmaiton of who will actually chair the board... So far, people willing to offer their time to member the board: Marty Lowe, Billy Boardy, Peter Miller, and a few others.
If you have any interest in being involved with the UWA, and have talents to offer... We would LOVE it... So, speak up... Let somebody know that you would like to be involved.
