Improving launch Sites @ Utah Lake

Postby Sarah Ranes » Mon Jun 06, 2005 4:13 pm

Yesterday as I drove home from Utah Lake, I drove through Lehi and noticed many full sand bags along the local canal bank. I'm wondering if anybody knows who to talk to, and ask if we could remove and then re distribute them after the flooding season is over. They certainly could help improve some of the more brutal launch sites around utah lake. Does anybody else think this would help?

Ty Hunter is the guy in charge of the Utah Lake State Parks... I guess I already told you about my interaction with him so far. I think that he could give you the phone numbers of people who might be able to authorize something like that... But then again... What authorization did the COUCH BURNING "NAPES OF CRIMSON" get at Lindon!?! as they left pallets upon pallets upon couches upon TV's... I'd be willing to bet that nobody would even care...
