This is a fun little exchange here I must say. And for my part in it I must appologize for my initial inflamatory post about C kites. Point taken Billy and others.

We need some wind.

I only scanned through most of it... Good educational information in here... But Bordy, a couple years ago I had posted a "UWA quote of the year" thread that I'm sorry I forgot to talk about at the Annual meeting... The Fayette wind, JM, Baby birds, ST. etc... You got a guttural laugh with "Dude read it in a stoner voice, there doesn't it sound so much nicer!"... Just about did a spit-take of vitamin water all over my computer... But it's a brilliant point.

I second Brad's motion; WE NEED SOME (DECENT) WIND!!!

Just to set the record straight, yes, I did hurt my right knee trying to learn to kiteboard, and yes, I do fly a couple of Peter Lynn kites on the snow, but the kite I was using when I got hurt was a Slingshot T3. A very nice kite, actually - great depower, very easy water relaunch, and obviously tough as nails considering all the violent crashes it survived at my hands. Anyway, the injury was entirely due to my clumsiness, not to any problem with the kite.

so after all this i got my bladder leak fixed the other day and it was not my bladder actually that was the problem. it was the big screw-on-off valve on the main bladder that was leakin so what i did to fix it was screw it on tighter and it stopped leaking. I left it fully pumped up for 6days and it kept its air and pressure great so i am stoked about that. anyways. Have a Nice day
